Good morning L.J.! (For me anyway!)
I spent some time trying to confirm this report so I am posting this to possibly save someone else the trouble. (If you have additional info please post it. MWH pinging you since you have some South Side connections and might be interested!)
Video on Telegram via Tik Tok claims major gas pipeline break in Chicago that is causing all the haze and smell. (Dubious given its happening over the entire NE U.S.) I cant find story about it other than some flaring done at a BP refinery in Whiting IN. However there are a lot of comments by Chicago residents regarding the smell, headaches, asthma,at KarliBonne's Telegram channel post. There was a problem in California where several towns had problems with natural gas and breathing problems. (Noted by commenter...at the end of the video the speaker posing in front of a "Grow room", do Do Not Inhale! )
Midnight Rider Channel--Pipeline break
Found this on a Whiting refinery. Same approximate time period. (Flaring....burning off gas during the refining process. When young I would sometimes pass the Texaco refinery in Locport IL. Smelled horrible!)
This does not show any accidents. Not sure how current.

Conspiracy take....If the powers that be want to ban natural gas stoves and heaters what better way than to expose people to natural gas and bad effects to persuade them? Problem....Can't verify the "Massive level 4 Hazmat emergency" the TikTok poster "reports."
