Bob I know you're into this: My estimation this story started around the time just after the younger dryas. Or before homer's iliad talking about the soon coming trojan wars.
I never heard this interpretation of the Emerald Tablets. This interpretation is the Rosicrusian and Freemason which not the main stream view of the Emerald Tables. Many of these tablets are not in the public domain. Hermes they're talking about I believe is Hermes Trismegistus.
