Even if, as in Christianity, a religious text is “holy”, it is the words themselves, not any printed pages.
Only an insecure religion is actually concerned about a “holy book” being burned. A religion of strong believers and strong faith would simply tell the “book burners” they did not hurt the faithful or their faith. It’s a childish act. But an insecure religion; well that is something else.

Well, that’s Islam. They are the most insecure religion of all. Say one bad word about their God? Death. Badmouth the “prophet”? Death. Draw a picture of the “prophet”? Death. Burn the Koran? Death. Decided you don’t want to be muslim anymore? Death. Fart in the mosque? Okay, probably not death for that, but I bet they’ll take you out back and pound you.
If religions are like husbands, and believers are like wives, then Islam is the abusive husband who thinks his wife is about to cheat on him with every man she sees so he has to beat her constantly if he wants to keep her.

They may be Insecure but it is the fastest growing religion in the world because they know what they stand for.
