A massive fight among hundreds of migrant workers from Central Asian states broke out over the weekend at Gazprom’s Kovykta gas field, where thousands of workers are under pressure to build new infrastructure to meet the terms of a natural gas supply contract to China, according to social media platforms.

And looking around see the fault lines.
Regime Change Dreams it’s time to change your undies Neocons.
What were they fighting over?

Could you possibly explain your coded message and how it relates to the oil patch in Siberia?
I can’t keep up with all the dog whistles and code words.
This is what the Chinese are waiting for. They will be happy to send troops to make things go more smoothly.
One of the guys who covers Russian finance reported that the government is taxing Gazprom and a related company on the world market price even though the price Gazprom can sell for is capped below that price. In other words, they’re being taxed for money profits they did not make. My guess is the workers have not been paid and this has resulted in violence. This may be a case of theft rolling downhill.
As a matter of interest, Russia’s various companies are hiring their own mercenaries. This is probably to keep the various higher-ups safe from roving armed thieves and other issues you’d expect if civil society broke down.
“What were they fighting over?”
Whether or not Karl Marx owned his clothes.

The many tribes of Russia do not play nice with each other, in fact, they hate each other.
Stalin’s plan was to mix them preventing a dominant group that might oppose him; just made it worse.
The link says some were cutting the chow line; a cardinal sin! Long ago I broke the jaw of a line cutter.
The CO slapped my wrist and told me to avoid such incidents in the future.
The people who get angry about Vladimir Putin and Russia and China and Taiwan and Uyghur Muslims in China etc. etc. just seem to have a lust for war.
They just seem to ejaculate their passion for violence and to what end.
It could be a very dangerous end with nations possessing technological and military means including nuclear weapons.
Alas, there’s no more little blue Prigo pills left over from the weekend...
Gazprom has also stood up their own Wagner- like paramilitary force.
Wonder what that costs, and can they use it to put down the workers?
I guess they’ll have to resort to Zelensky War Porn videos.
“The love”? Is that what Western intel agitators are known as now?
Migrant workers from China probably. Russia is going to have its hands full trying to keep the Chinese out of Siberia.

IIRC there is another pipeline being planned...currently China doesn’t need the additional supply.
And China is dragging their feet.
They want it but not right now.
“Wonder what that costs, and can they use it to put down the workers?”
Unless they plan on running a prison camp, they’d best not manhandle the workers. But Henry Ford had his company police beat the workers, break strikes, etc. Nothing can be ruled out because I suspect the workers have no “rights.” As far as how much it costs...how much is the safety of the boss worth to himself?

IIRC that very question is now pending before the USSC.
And I’ll bet the see eye aye had a hand in stirring up this trouble too.
“IIRC that very question is now pending before the USSC.”
Another Freeper pointed out the article on that subject did not state the issue. The person had reinvested dividends without paying the taxes on the income. You get the dividends; you owe the taxes. Say you got dividends worth $100 and reinvested them. You owe the taxes on the $100 no matter what you did with it. I’m amazed this went to court.
Shut up, “Nextrush”.
