Well, Fox probably isn’t going to hold a vendetta over every makeup artist and cameraman.
The producers and writers are probably seen as “tainted” though.
But those are also the kind of people that Carlson is most likely to consider hiring back for his “mancave” podcast.
Entertainment people are amongst the scummiest on Earth.
Makes it easier for Tucker to staff his new endeavor. Also should make it harder for FOX to find loyal employees.
When there is a big shakeup at a company and you are told “your job is safe”, be sure to look for another job quick.
Fox News aiming to be behind CNN to gloat about their wokeness.
How is Fox’s viewership these days?
I lived an experience similar to this - and yes, it is a shytty thing to do. In my case however it was a saving grace.
My employer was in the business of shepherding automobiles through the process of importation into the United States from Japan. We offloaded the cars from the transport ships and outfitted them in preparation to delivery to individual dealerships. My job at the time was installing air conditioning units into the cars as they came off the boats.
One of the larger models of cars we processed ended production and my employer gave me the option of either re-applying for another position within the company (which most of my fellow employees chose to do) or be furloughed and become eligible for unemployment.
What the others didn’t know was that this type of employment furlough (unlike a more general reduction in force) made me eligible for retraining - essentially a college tuition program.
Over the next 16 months or so I attended school (while working part-time) and soon went to work as a computer technician for Microsoft. I never looked back.
I wish these people similar luck!
The guy’s show isn’t on any more. Jessie has his own guys.
As they say, “That’s show biz.”
If you’ve been in broadcasting for more than a few years and haven’t been fired…you must work cheap.
The Communist Purge Continues To Grow Exponentially & Nothing Is Being Done About It!
Totally different situations. Bongino’s contract was up and Faux and he just couldn’t come to terms on a new contract. Ted Baxter was fired for playing grab-ass. In these cases there would be no reason to fire staffers. Tucker is a completely different situation. The firing of Tucker is a major salvo in a great Cultural War. Anyone staffing for Tucker would be tainted as pro-American in the eyes of the globohomos at Faux News.
Not a bit surprised that Faux would fire them.
“staffers on Carlson’s team were repeatedly told following his departure that their jobs were safe,”
I worked in HR. Never EVER believe it when someone tells you this, especially in times of corporate upheaval.
