That’s one way to get viewership numbers up for a now corrupted media organization. Show us what they USED to do. They can’t manufacture stories and news fast enough.

I remember he was always going to have a “really great show” lol
We watched every Sunday night...I never did figure out who he was, meaning how did he get this show.
Anyway, the jugglers and plate spinners were always such a boring few minutes.
But yeah...Sunday was Disney and Uncle Ed.
Had a babysitter the night that the Beatles were on Ed Sullivan.
The babysitter spent the whole time screaming. I remember thinking she was some kind of lunatic.
Not only Ed Sullivan, but so many great variety shows.
Andy Williams, Dean Martin, Tom Jones, Johnny Cash, Perry Como, Jackie Gleason, Hollywood Palace, Carol Burnett, Smothers Brothers, Glen Campbell, Hee-Haw, Donny & Marie, Flip Wilson, Sonny & Cher, Muppets, etc.
And guest stars galore - Louis Armstrong, Jimmy Durante, Rich Little, omg the list could go on for pages.
He had millions watching because there limited choices back then.

Don’t you hate it when somebody says to “get with the times” when the “times” just aren’t good enough? The only common sense alternative is conservatism and to be able to say “Don’t blame me, I voted for Trump”!
I never saw so many plate spinners and balancing acts in my life
Don’t forget Laugh-In. It was the show that EVERYBODY wanted to guest on... Batman, too!
