CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. — A group of seven people prosecutors say are affiliated with gangs are heading to prison, according to the Cherokee County District Attorney’s Office.
Prosecutors say that on two nights in June and July 2019, approximately 50 cars were broken into in neighborhoods across Cherokee County.
The group stole five guns, three cars and other personal items.
Six people were arrested when they returned early one July morning to continue the crime spree:
Tyjuan “TK” Shecorn Burch, 22
Quinn “Chucky” Chajuan Dawson, 23
Jacquez “Joc” Daquan Ivey, 23
Darell “Rell” Marrion, 21
Two juveniles
While prosecuting them, the Cherokee County DA’s office says they learned about three more suspects:
Johnmarvalious “Wixked” Givens, 22
Quanjavis “Boochie” Jawayne Jones, 21
Detravious “Trey” Long, 22
All seven adults pleaded guilty to violating the RICO Act. It’s unclear if the two juveniles were tried.
Burch pleaded guilty to violating the RICO Act and was sentenced to 20 years with the first 10 to serve in prison.
Dawson pleaded guilty to violating the RICO Act and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. He was sentenced to 20 years with the first 15 to serve in prison.
Ivey pleaded guilty to violating the RICO Act and theft by taking. He was sentenced to to 20 years with the first 10 to serve in prison.
Marrion pleaded guilty to violating the RICO Act and was sentenced to 20 years with the first 12 to serve in prison.
Givens pleaded guilty to violating the RICO Act and theft by taking. He was sentenced to 20 years with the first 10 to serve in prison.
Jones pleaded guilty to violating the RICO Act and was sentenced to 20 years with the first 10 to serve in prison.
Long pleaded guilty to violating the RICO Act and was sentenced to 20 years with the first 12 to serve in prison.
Just reading their names gave me a headache. .
…..
20 years seems a lot compared to other crimes like that female CEO.
I’ll take atrocious names for $1,000, Alex.
I don’t believe the “misguided youths” will get off lightly in Cherokee County, Georgia. That county is pretty conservative, although like most counties in Georgia, the left are moving in and taking over pretty fast. However, the voters probably voted about 75% for Trump in 2020 and I don’t think they have changed that much in four years. Cherokee County has a reputation for being extremely tough on crime, so unless a Soros prosecutor has recently taken over, these guys are probably looking at prison time.
0bama must be proud of his could-have-been sons. I wonder if Big Mike will bake them some cookies. (wookie cookies! LOL)
I meant to say “These guys are looking at ‘completing” some serious prison time”. There will probably be little chance of a release for “good behavior”.
Lesson learned...don't leave firearms in vehicle overnight.
The new prosecutor was appointed by Kemp. Worth keeping an eye on.
I would not bet the farm that they are headed to prison...... Now if they were Donald Trump........... It would be a sure bet.
That’s a new one. Johnmarvalious.
“Quanjavis “Boochie” Jawayne Jones”
I had a law professor by that name years ago. How ironic! /s
When it came to naming those ‘yutes’, the scrabble box must have been used.
Pygmy cannibals. The only thing missing are the spears. /spit
Why did it take 4 years between the commission of these crimes and the conviction? This isn’t exactly a complex white collar crime, nor do the convicted criminals appear to be a clever group of people.
Intelligent ‘teens’ filmed themselves giving lessons... Enjoy. They are probably mystified how they got caught after filming and posting their daily work routine.

One of the cars they broke into must have been the judge’s or the prosecutor’s - RICO convictions of 20 years with ten years minimum in jail.
When/if the get out they’ll have 8 to 10 years probation with a violation sending back for the remaining 8 to 10 years.
Sentences like this would clear up petty/serious crime in a hurry if they became common.
Those names are the least their mothers should be slapped for. Where are their fathers?
pleaded guilty to violating the RICO Act
