I trace a lot of the decline to Bill Clinton. He was personally, politically, and financially corrupt. He was as slimy as they come. But that’s okay. American has had bad presidents before. The difference with Clinton is that the establishment and the media closed ranks around him. Instead of holding Clinton to account, the powers that be went on the offensive. It was those that wanted Clinton to be removed and/or prosecuted who were the bad guys. He got off Scot free (more or less). And that has been the basic roadmap for Democrats (like Hillary, Biden, even Obama) ever since.

Then Obama. Gets hillary’s soviet hcare passed on voice vote at 2am. Continues to destroy country with all sorts of perversions, more taxes, gun control, more funds for abortions, has their justice dept declare christians and political enemies as domestic terrorists. Now Biden. Hes got other doing the details but he’s got all the hate directing it. When he slips up you see it. Probably all he can do to control it.
