I watched the video of the making of the Titan.

I did not see any metal reinforcements inside the 5 inch thick ‘tube’ of carbon fiber. None at all.

The only metal was the Front Dome with window, which was made of titanium.

The two pieces were then GLUED TOGETHER!

A JOINT OF METAL AND CARBON FIBER AND ADHESIVE.

If the adhesive let go, and I am guessing, THIS is the part of the structure that failed.

Just like the Challenger Disaster and the rubber O Rings................

Well you aren’t informed

Buns o rings were used. They had oxidized over time and exposure. Rubber O rings are not used in space flight

I agree. It sounds like the front nose cone blew off when the implosion occurred when the carbon fiber shattered. They won’t find much of the hull. If it was made of some sort of metal, it would be about the size a crumpled cigarette pack.

All larger composite structures are "glued" together. That includes the Boeing 787 and Airbus 350 jet airliners.

Glue seems to work for them.
