The only reason Modelo is tops would be due to all the Hispanics, legal and illegal in this country.

Mexican Restaurants are the reason. All races drink Modelo there. Modelo Negra is pretty good beer.

ME!! Corona is usually served in clear bottles and light is NOT good for beer. Light increases the growth of bitter alpha acids in beer, giving it a more bitter, skunky aroma, and flavor. The lime acids counter the bitter alpha acids and that makes the beer easier to drink.

But Modelo is more of a German-style lager and has a full body taste. Modelo Negra is extremely smooth for a dark beer and doesn't sit as heavy as most dark lagers.

Now, Corona Premier has become one of my favorite light beers, along with Yuengling Flight. Now I am especially fond of Miller Lite, but that is because I worked at Miller Brewing in Fort Worth for several years and we got free beer every month - free COLD beer is ALWAYS the best beer, but just FREE beer is a close second best! LOL!
