"Speak the Truth: Unleashing the Untamed Spirit of Freedom"
Brushstrokes have become my weapon of choice in the battle for our sacred FREEDOM OF SPEECH. This painting witnesses to the clash of ideologies that threatens to shackle your every word, thought, and action. America, once a beacon of unrestricted expression, now teeters on the edge of a precipice, where dissenting voices are silenced, careers obliterated, and lives destroyed for daring to defy the sanctioned narratives of the left.
This painting serves as a poignant reminder of the immense sacrifices made to forge the cornerstone of our freedom. It harkens back to a pivotal moment almost 250 years ago when brave Colonists waged a war for Independence, birthing a nation bound by a divinely inspired document—the US Constitution—designed to safeguard the precious liberties we hold dear.
Now, as we stand at the crossroads of destiny, a choice hangs in the balance: succumb to the lies of conformity or rise above the tide, fearlessly proclaiming the unadulterated truth. In this symphony of colors, McNaughton showcases the defiant spirits that refuse to be silenced, their collective voices reverberating across the canvas of our nation. Though they may clash, disagree, or even spar, they remain united in their shared determination to be heard.
I dare you to self-reflect. Let "Speak the Truth" empower your own voice, inspiring you to join the ranks of those who refuse to be subdued. Embrace the audacity to SPEAK THE TRUTH—no matter the price, no matter the consequences.
I’ve really enjoyed viewing and thinking about McNaughton’s paintings over the years.
I like this one, glad he did it. If I was doing it, though, I would NOT have used some of the figures he used, and would put in others.
Like Hamilton (father of central bankstering). Some of the more recent figures are controlled opposition, like Hannity. As replacements, JFK would be a good one.
It’s pretty stupid to include some of these figures Saudi bribe recipient Jared Kushner or dishonest grifters like Bannon and Hannity.
No one is going to remember any of these tv talking heads 100 years from now. It’s offensive to include them as equivalent to Washington or Jefferson.
Dr. Thomas Sowell and Dr. Walter Williams need to be in there, too.
Unless it’s media personalities that the painting is about.
No Maria Bartiromo?
Yeah, it’s always a matter of opinion in things like this. But overall it gets the message across - I like how Tucker is taking documents to the Founders like a real journalist, while the slimmed-down Hannity looks like he’s trying to order a round of beers.
I think Rush is the only non-living one on the left side. And I think I’d have painted Elon and Ben Franklin putting their heads together...
I don’t see Jared Kushner in the painting.
Totally agree!
The point of Swiftie's post was a NeverTrump smear, period.
Truth be damned.
Shamity does not belong.
Thanks for posting. McNaughton is always good.
You can see from the above comments that you can't please everyone here. 🙄
Pleasing all Freepers is probably impossible. I think it's an excellent theme for a painting, and I'm sure the execution is extremely good, though I can't verify that on this laptop. I could quibble about a few of the choices, but it would be petty.
