An Ohio man accused of fatally shooting his three young sons admitted to planning the killings and lined them up before executing them with a rifle, prosecutors said Friday.
Chad Doerman, 32, who is also accused of wounding the boys' mother at the family’s home, has been charged with aggravated murder, authorities said.
Clermont County's chief prosecutor of Municipal Court, David Gast, said during Doerman's arraignment Friday that one of the boys tried to flee into a nearby field but Doerman "hunted" his son down and brought him back to their home before killing him.
Doerman's bail has been set at $20 million. He was being held in Clermont County Jail.
Deputies responded to the home in Monroe Township shortly before 4:30 p.m. Thursday after receiving a pair of 911 calls, one apparently from the mother who was screaming that "her babies had been shot" and another from a passing motorist who said a girl was running down the street saying her father was killing people, a news release from the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office said.
The deputies found three boys, ages 3, 4 and 7, outside the home with gunshot wounds and tried to save their lives, but the children died at the scene.
"They held these children knowing there was nothing they could do," Gast said. "How do you unsee that sort of abomination?"
The boys' named have not been released.
The sheriff's office said the 34-year-old mother, who was not identified, was outside the home and had suffered a gunshot to the hand. She was transported to a hospital with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.
Doerman was found sitting on a stoop at the home and was taken into custody without incident.

Vigilantism needs to be unleashed. There is not other thing that makes sense. Not fit to live doesn’t go far enough.
I have one fine son. The joy of three evaded me. I weep for these children and pray they are in the arms of Jesus getting the love they so much need. That is the only image that can assuage the shock and terror of this evil.
It is times like this that we long to believe in God as a protector of the innocent. There is so much evil it would bury us with despair without hope of Him and some good somewhere to let these children live out their innocence forever.
“Law enforcement” these days only serves to protect these animals from real justice.
I cannot think of anything more depraved than murdering your own kids, unless they were to be tortured first. This guy needs to be put down.

My only reservation is that it would put him out of misery if he has any. I would put him in a cell plastered with the pictures of these innocent children and play the sounds of children’s laughter endlessly until he went completely mad and beat his own brains out.

The only law ‘law enforcement’ unquestioningly and vigorously enforces is the public taking the law into their own hands. We see it everywhere, New York, San Fran, the Mexican border...
Previously he was charged with choking his own father and about a dozen other arrests, traffic violations “mostly”.
He sounds like a jerk with infantile anger control abilities. Yes, obviously criminally evil as well.
She was shot - but not killed.
There is no redemption for an act such as this.

With her only being shot in the hand, it is a little suspicious.

That idea needs to be revisited. Not public torture but a video of the monster being shot a few times, then dying over a two day period of time might work...
Then again, in our world the corrupt thugs in the DOJ, FBI and democrat party would ONLY use this technique against parents objecting to their kids being castrated and sterilized with 'teacher's help, or Christians objecting to Drag Queens performing in front of their 7 year olds.
Or maybe it's time for a national divorce.... (CUS = Conservative United States and PUS - Progressive United States.)
The state legislature needs to pass a bill right now. Stoning for those found guilty of murdering your children; to me carried out within a month.
