Wanted to visit Bali but in looking at reviews and YouTube posts there was never a reel or photo without the picture full of people. Everywhere people went there were lots and lots and lots of people. It looked like you were leaving a football game, everywhere.

I learned my lesson the first time in Thailand for no helmet on a motorcycle... Matters not how many locals drove passed without helmets as I’m getting a citation wrote up. Tourists = Revenue...

Just there a few months ago. Didn't see any of that.
Food was terrible, maybe my covid19 missing taste buds
had something to do with that. Never saw so many motor
scooters in one place before. Saw several temples too
many, wearing a sarong was OK, but the woven flip-flops
didn't make my feet happy. Overall, it was a been there
done that won't be back experience.
