He thought in terms of actually solving problems. Illegal aliens? Build a wall. Budget deficits? Get Europe to pay for it's defense. Peace in the Middle East? Stop kowtowing to the incalcitrant Palestinians. Trade? Stop giving in to the Chinese. Even Covid, Trump was results oriented.
But, the problem is, to the swamp, to the entrenched politicians... solving problems is the LAST thing on their minds. If there are problems, the most lucrative thing, from their personal perspective, is to keep stringing the problem along. That way, you can solicit contributions from both sides of the issue. The LAST thing they want is for a problem to be solved.
