The IRS? Ha! The profit margin for firearms is small. If you can pull 10% net profit, you are doing very well.
The last time I purchased a firearm (M&P Shield) the guy who owns my favorite guns shop was honest enough to tell me to buy on Gunbroker and have it shipped to him because he makes more from the FFL fee than he would if he ordered the pistol for me and sold direct.
