FLAGLER COUNTY, FL (LOOTPRESS) – One Florida man has been arrested after he pointed a gun at a woman’s head because her friend used his driveway to back up.
According to the two victims involved, Terry Vetsch, 60, approached them from his home yelling armed with a gun after one of the victims had briefly used Vetsch’s driveway to back up their vehicle.
Vetsch used the gun to strike the victim’s backseat window before the other victim approached him and an argument ensued. Vetsch then pointed his gun at the victim’s head and continued to argue with them.
Deputy Munoz responded to Vetsch’s home on Wood Ash Ln. Vetsch said he thought the victims were his neighbor, with whom he had had several arguments before.
With Vetsch’s permission, Deputy Munoz reviewed the surveillance video of the incident. It showed the victim following Vetsch toward his property while arguing, but they had not trespassed when Vetsch pointed the gun at their head.
The deputy arrested Vetsch for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon Without Intent to Kill. He was taken to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility where he is being held on a $50,000 bond.
“Not controlling your anger does not work out most of the time. In this case it landed an individual in the Green Roof Inn,” added Sheriff Staly.
Get off my lawn!
Get off my...driveway...
gotta love
FLORIDA MAN ...
You know, if they parked in his driveway and were making out, I could understand the violent reaction. But backing into his driveway to turn around? C’mon man!
“when Vetsch pointed the gun at their head.”
Their head??? I’d like to see a picture of these creatures that share a head.
EC
I’ve had people turn around in my driveway before. As long as they actually leave, big deal.
When my ex was single, he and friends rented a house two doors down from a ... ahem ... “massage parlor”. (Spenard, AK) Men would park in the driveway thinking they wouldn’t get caught.
The stupid ones had business trucks with name and phone number on them. And the REALLY stupid ones had their wives answering the business phone. Ex and friends would call the number and, just like magic, those trucks never re-appeared to block the driveway again.
