I thought it was a great movie. (Don’t know about accuracy or anything like that, but I thought a well told and interestingly shot movie)

It was an OK movie. Once again stuck on some special mission rather than the thick of fighting, and sort of left up in the air.

There aren’t many movies on WWI (there aren’t many on anything outside WWII especially and to some extent American Civil War), so to me you need more general warfare movies before delving into that detail.

As a result, the best movie I’ve seen for WWI is “War Horse”. It really covers a lot of what went on, no detail of maneuvers, but it shows all sides and the grittiness of it all.
