The Iron City Beer sign in Pittsburgh is as iconic as the beer itself.
But one fan of the beer and Taylor Swift is trying to get the company to temporarily change the name this weekend to “Swift City Beer.”
Kevin Leonard posted a petition on Change.org on Sunday, June 11.
Swift will perform at Acrisure Stadium on Friday, June 16, and Saturday, June 17.
Leonard wrote, “Iron City Beer has been a staple in the Pittsburgh community for over 150 years. However, as we approach the upcoming Taylor Swift concert on June 16-17, it is time for a change.

Don't give in Irn City(picksburgh accent), she is a whore.
The key to marketing and long-term brand reputation - don’t fall for cheap gimmicks.
Cupid stunt.
I like that!
Companies have paid serious fines for advertising things such as alcohol to minors.
I’m not seeing why she needs the city to change it’s name just to host her concerts. Concerts come and go in mere days or weeks. If Taylor wants to use her wealth to purchase a small town with very few residents and change that, maybe so.
It is amazing what people see as excellence is usually mediocre, re T Swift.
Taylor’s Dad grew up up the street from me in PA & graduated from the same HS. His Dad was one of the wealthiest people in town. Scott was older and had a summer job changing the sprinklers on the golf course at night (we called them “Greenies”). The swish/swish/swish sound (no A/C and backyard on the 4th fairway) is what put me to sleep at night for a few years.
...as far as Iron City Beer - I remember one time a Frat brother went cheap on the tailgate beer (from the burgh, of course). At any given time, 1/3 of the brothers, alums, little sisters, parents, etc. were in the port-a-johns.
The microphone may just explode. I.C.

Bring back Aretha Franklin.
I never heard that on Sanford and Son.
She has to be paying a mint to whomever is doing all of her promotional stories and such. You cannot get away from this woman.
Haha, no that was little risque for television. It’s from his stand-up act.
“Bring back Aretha Franklin.”
Or Tina Turner.
Proper garden tool.
The only time I’ve had Iron City Beer was at the Pittsburgh airport when I was changing planes, and I liked it. However, I’m not familiar with Taylor Swift.
The new owner is a coal man I doubt he will do this. Also Iron City ( industrial strength) isn’t a bad beer since he took over and he isn’t woke. My new beer
