Denver Nuggets 94 Miami Heat 89 Series 4-1
Nikola Jokic was the leading scorer of the game with 28, and leading rebounder of the game with 16. Jamal Murray had the game high in assists with 8.
They haven't named a series MVP, but it would be surprising if it wasn't Jokic.
Banning tattoos is an absolute NON-STARTER! If you want to completely alienate an entire generation or two, then your ban is OK, but:
The number of young adults I have coming into my business DAILY that have a LOT of art on them is astounding. Even the young men and women at the RODEO not just in the crowd and performing, but also in ALL the service positions have more work on them than I used to see working at the naval base twenty+ years ago.
Honestly, it’s like a plague, there is so much ink on folks now.
Perhaps another sign of a culture with more money than sense?
Actually Jokic is a 2-time NBA MVP and this was his first championship
Arguably the best players in the NBA right now are both European and white, Nikola Jokic and Luka Donic
I said the MVP trophy
I watched most of the series and they clearly were the better team. Jokic seems like a throwback type player, someone who just does the job and isn’t about all this star power and fame. I am happy for them.
Oh boy, I remember the Dan Issel/Bobby Jones/David Thompson Nuggets - putting up 130 points every night. Damn, that was a fun team to watch.
the NBA is the most un-woke of the American sports leagues.
Really? I thought all the kneeling made the 7’ players, something like 5’6”...
I'm in northern Colorado, and I avoid Denver at all costs.
94-89 in a Championship game? No wonder I stopped watching the NBA.

Sorta. Popovich and Kerr are millinaire commies. BLM crap. I do like Jokic.
The next NBA superstar will be Victor Wembanyama from France. The Spurs are going to take him first in the draft.
If Arvydas Sabonis had been allowed to play in the NBA in his prime, instead of at the tail-end of his career, he might have gone down as one of the greatest players ever. He was a shadow of his former self, when he finally made it to the Trailblazers, and even so, he was still a pretty good player.
Jokic is basically Sabonis with a White Castle addiction. Very similar players.
If all the former Yugoslav countries could put together one basketball team, they’d probably beat the US.
He was on the Soviet team and they beat the American team that had David Robinson, Mitch Richmond, and Danny Manning on it.
