you are correct> I shouldn’t generalize the LE with the DA/prosecutors, even though the cops just watch the scum smash their patrol cars and do nothing. We can only excuse them so much from some responsibility.
“teach black children lies that would set them against other racial groups in the country”
And like I said, the biggest lie being that America is irredeemably racist was built by their slave ancestors.
Here’s some rock bottom truth about slavery that’s NOT taught in our schools:
The slave trade in Africa operated for hundreds of years before white people came to Africa.
White people did not invent slavery but we were the people who put an end to it.
And yes, there were greedy white people who sailed to Africa and bought blacks at the slave markets run by black Africans. (Just like there are greedy people who buy drugs from cartels and see them here) Those types of people brought slaves to work in homes and fields. And yes, that was wrong. Evil, in fact. In 1806 Great Briton outlawed Slavery... a few decades later the US did the same. Then civilized countries put an end to the slave markets of Africa and worked to outlaw slavery around the world.
Not to worry. All the giant warehouses they’re building all over the place will gladly step in to provide free government cheese.
You raise a good point. There use to be a couple of smaller grocery stores within walking distance of my house. They just couldn't compete with the big box stores and regional grocery stores that built on cheaper land at the edge of town.
Well, next time there are some riots like those you allude to, feel free to volunteer for your local sheriff or police reserve unit and show us all how it’s done.
Being in the middle of a riot, grossly outnumbered, being told by your leadership to back away to prevent serious injuries or death, but you’ll rush right in there to keep a cop car from being flipped over.
The Wal-Mart I go to in Germantown, Maryland, has not only those anti-shoplifting alarm gates, but also each and every shopper is asked to produce a receipt on the way out. Thanks, Montgomery County.
What if the “customers” consume the goods in the store?
My hearts aches. I grew up with black (colored) people. During the 1930s and early fortys my mother worked, and I was raised by a black (she wasn’t really that black) nurse whom I loved like a mother. I remember sitting on her lap being cuddles and her singing to me. We had other African Americans working for us. They were good hard-working sensible people whom I felt part of the family. I remember my aunt being surprised when a washing machine showed up in the basement because they got tired of rumbadub with a washboard in a wash tub. I used to be excused from the dinner table to go to the kitchen where I heard more common sense spoken.
I remember that world. Black folks and White folks got along. No one was afraid of any killing or violence. Most Blacks were born in wedlock with a mother and father. They aspired to build better lives, as did all Americans.
I attribute the start of the dramatic change to the assassination of President Kennedy, and the ascent of Lyndon Johnson. Johnson and his "Great Society" were among the worst things to happen to America in the late 20th Century. The assassination of Martin Luther King was a catastrophe. He was not a hate monger like the current Negro leadership.
I might add, in the kitchen I felt accepted and welcome. I was usually given a drying towel or washcloth and told, “Here, child, make yourself useful.” But they listened to whatever I might have to say unlike at the dinner table where I was told not to interrupt my elders.
Animals...how sad...
And that’s only a small part of the invading mob of looters
Wal Mary sucks. Surly staff, mostly self checkout, crappy items and usually located in crappy neighborhoods.
I am a volunteer. Its just that we don’t allow riots and looting to begin with. a 10$ theft here, is still a theft.
Even that 17% was being subsidized writhing higher prices elsewhere.
