Those work if they’re in an enclosed area - otherwise they are just a Bunny Buffet! Ask me how I know, LOL!
SO many useful things to make from pallets. My Nursery Manager was the handiest guy, and he was always coming up with ideas - we had a TON of pallets at the Garden Center, for sure.
Got all the watering done today - it really DID take. all. day!
Just got the dogs and other critters fed and the puppy is down for a nap - a young dog who is staying here for some training completely wears her out - and she turns into a Velociraptor when she’s over-tired and hungry! ‘Tony’ is going to have LIMITED playtime with her - she just can’t take all the excitement at only 11 weeks.
I’ll post pictures of puppy Arikara (Ah-RICK-Ah-Rah) when I get to it - my computer is being a BRAT these days!
“Bunny Buffet”
Deer buffet, too. Our hosta munching doe was just in the back yard around 8:30, eating apples off the old tree. Mom has hostas around that tree, but they were covered with row cover which she puts on every night & takes off every morning.
The pallets make the rows so neat looking - I like neat.
A relative has a new Australian Shepherd pup. We saw her Friday a week ago & they had just gotten her the Tuesday before - 12 weeks old. She is the sweetest dog & will be a wonderful farm dog. Since everything was pretty new, she was sleeping a lot between adventures, just exhausted. I got some pics today & she’s doing fine - going on walks, tagging along on chores, riding in the PU & ATV 4 wheeler. One of the 2 barn cats showed her who was boss day 1 so she gives that cat a wide berth - pretty funny watching them sidling around each other.
I think I caught the rascal who has been munching on my peppers this evening. There’s a ‘back way’ into the garden & that’s where he was.
All my plants are watered - will check in 3-4 days, but hoping with the deep watering they got, they can make it a week.
Arikara ... sounded familiar to me.
