No, it comes from a child feeling good about themselves the way they were born. Not by reinforcing a misguided belief that a child will be “happier” if they can become something else that they cannot be. Often the “transition” fostered by those with a political agenda or a Munchausen’s mom rather than the someone with the true best interest of the child.
Glad you used the word Munchausen because I used the concept “Munchausen By Proxy” to describe one loudmouth leftist who was on the news the other day.
