I can remember when cyclamates were banned as potential carcinogens.

It was years later that a published study revealed one would have to consume 800 colas per DAY to cause damage.

Cyclamates were never banned in Canada.

I’m 71½, and I’ve been drinking iced tea sweetened with saccharine since my tweens. Never trusted nutrasweet, and have always looked askance at splenda. I don’t usually drink more than one or two large glasses a day, sometimes none at all.
