In an interview many decades later, his co-star Patricia Neal said they had a very hard time shooting the movie because they kept cracking up laughing at the scripted dialog they had to say!..................
I remember reading that Michael Rennie didn’t have a very high opinion of it, either.
By the way, I like Keanu Reeves, but the remake was horrible.
