Actually, if you look at what happened to Seth Rich and so many others, I don’t think that the FBI would be the source of the assassination. The more likely source of assassination would be either the CIA or a foreign government’s spy network who someone in power within the US government would ask for a favor.
Yes, someone in the Biden inner circle could ask Russia, the UK, Australia, the Saudi’s for a special favor and expect that the FBI informant would die a suspicious death. Alternately, the request could be made to a Central or South American government official with dies so one of the drug cartels. Such a Cartel could expect a favor in return from their government and their government could expect some federal foreign aid money from the Biden Administration.
If the FBI is afraid and has valid reasons then, they have a lot more information that they should be sharing. They probably have an idea of who would make such a request and an idea of who might perform the deed. The FBI should be called out to state who they suspect of both wanting the informant dead, who they suspect would request the hit, who they would expect to do the deed.
Setting it up for when they off the truth teller in the near future.

That’s true, but we don’t know this person’s name. So, when there’s a page 8 story about someone who died of bathtub electrocution with a rope around their neck and a shotgun wound to the chest, it won’t ring any bells.
