As for me and my house we will:
NEVER GO TO DISNEY WORLD.
Buddy of mine went and it cost him over $10,000.00 for a week.
He told his family to suck it in cause it will be the ONE and ONLY trip.
Endless lines, bored and angry people waiting in line, overpriced foods, faggery on display. He rated it an “F”. His wife couldn’t believe how bad it was.
Sheesh, you can do a lot of nice vacation for 10 grand.
What a waste of money.
I've worked with some ultra-Orthodox Jewish schools. Before admitting a child, some will have a clause for the parents to sign: "No Florida vacations."
Honestly, I would no longer want to take a child to Disney, or probably any large amusement parks, not only because of the Alphabet crowd. These places have grown too darn coarse -- fights, drunks, lewdness -- not the right environment, even for an adult. The whole thing just sounds like a miserable experience.
I know of some religious/conservative groups that might privately rent out these parks for the day. (At a famous one in Coney Island, naked statues were covered up.) But going there on a regular or casual basis would be sick and crazy.
When Disney Theme Parks first opened, they were something new and fresh. It was a step above existing amusement parks by a wide margin. You didn’t mind so much the long lines because it was so unique and far superior to similar venues of the time. Over 50 years later, it’s become passe. It somehow doesn’t seem worth enduring the long lines and overpriced eateries anymore.
They’ve also lost the family friendly atmosphere and the professional, courteous work force that was such a part of the experience back then. With all that and the fact that there’s more competition nowadays, there’s less and less reason to go there.
