CHICAGO (WLS) -- At least 52 people have been shot, 10 fatally, in shootings across the city over the weekend, police said.
Another violent weekend in Chicago comes with Mayor Brandon Johnson set to attend the Chicago Police Department recruit graduation ceremony here at Navy Pier Monday morning.

They need to pick up the pace. I hear they’re beind last years numbers. Even with “young folks making silly decisions”.
And gee, over in the Dakotas or Montana or Vermont or New Hampshire or Maine and elsewhere like that, it was probably a great weekend to go to the range.
It’s not gun violence. It’s gang violence. A gun has no agency. It can’t be “violent.” A gang has agency. It can be violent. Try substituting any other name. Rock violence. Stove violence.
The little rascals are doing some hijinx that’s getting a little rambunctious.

Thugs by and large buy guns illegally. Thugs won't abide by any gun laws. So, if you outlaw guns completely in hell-hole cities like Chicago, will the thugs decide to stop buying guns illegally? Will thugs decide that since all guns are illegal, they'll stop killing and robbing with guns?
Disarming law-abiding citizens is a boon for thugs in these cities. For those who think the police will be able to thwart a murderous thug who is threatening your life, remember the saying:
"When seconds count, the police are an hour away".
You mean when seconds counts, a social worker is an hour away.

Last Wednesday night some feral savages decided to open fire with full auto Glocks. A 14 year old boy was killed.

The point being made is that when a person is threatened with a gun, expecting the police to show up on time to save you is a fantasy. Thank God we have the 2A. How democrat cities and states have gotten away with infringing the rights of law abiding citizens to bear arms - is a mark against our SCOTUS.
If you break into my home with a gun, you will be met with a 9mm. The police will be called when I'm able to do so but they will not be relied on to stop a real-time threat to my life and the life of my family. "When seconds count, the police are minutes or an hour away"
Maybe they will take out 10 democrat politicians per weekend during the DNC convention.
I think I did pretty good, on the over under I took 35 plus shot and at least 8 killed. The numbers are coming up, this is Great. I hope they keep up the good work and get these numbers up into the Hundreds quickly...
I love when leftists blame nice weather for shootings. It’s sunny where I am this morning and strangely bullets aren’t flying.
Meanwhile the flowers are in full bloom, back after this commercial break….
Who cares? If they want to live like animals that is up to them. When they get tired of shooting each other, they will stop.
