Yes. Easy question.
I knew a couple. Moonies. Arranged marriage. They went overseas for a 2 year ‘mission’. 3 kids left with 65 year-old grandparents. Screwed up. Had I been related I’d take the kids in and not let them have them back.
I’m not sure this womn was brainwashed liked the Moonies folks. Sometimes otherwise normal people just have whacked out morals and can’t see the large contradictions.
Most people today lack introspection and empathy, especially women, because society tells them they’re awesome no matter what they do. Any criticism is brushed off as sexist or some other ‘ism/ist”, freeing them from having to examine themselves.
One of our daughters has 2 kids, 2 & 4. We babysit often for oldest, the youngest less often, both occasionally. JUST ONE of them is a chore (wild child)...both is a struggle.
Don’t get me wrong. We love our grandkids and jump at the opportunity to babysit. But, we’re also smart enough to know the work involved. LOL
The mom leaving both with dad for seven weeks would be Hell on earth. Mom needs to stay home (not go on trip).
May I please add another scenario.
