I am glad to hear that. The court system and liability are the only things that will protect us when, not if, the next pandemic hits.
It’s funny in a funny-strange way. When I was a child in the fifties my impression was that the average person looked up to government as wise, reasonable and just. Then, along came LBJ, Vietnam, The Great Society, Watergate, hippies, liberalism (in the present bad sense) and all of that changed. I think the average person sees government as evil. Not even necessary evil. Just evil. I suspect the transition started under FDR and has been accelerating ever since. Hopefully when we’re over the “trans” aberration and universal diversity indoctrination this will reverse. Even if all of that disappeared tomorrow it would be decades, maybe a century before the average person sees government as anything but a necessary evil.
