Karl Marx had the idea of “immiseration” in which society gets worse and worse and that this is a good thing — because it makes people long for Communism as a cure for all the problems. I think Cloward-Piven is somewhat similar: push the social support network past its breaking point so that people demand Communism as a sweeping transformation that will fix everything.
But I find it pretty remarkable that awful Democrat ideas are manifestly making everything worse in so many areas, and people seem to think “Let’s have more of that”.
This is all part of the plan.
I’m kind of surprised that the destruction of our cities isn’t more of a national political issue. The Democrats run nearly 100% of the big cities yet they never get blamed for it in a sustained way.
