I have been suffering with my air-conditioner unit going out and it being 96 degrees. I am having to buy a whole new unit. Furnace & Air. Every thing is going out now. Had to have the house painted. Washing machine went out. Microwave went. My icemaker out again (just had that repaired) The guy said it would be $400 just to replace the ice-maker. Next will probably be my dryer and dishwasher. Money, Money, Money.
The company I am buying the air-conditioner unit from did bring a portable IN room unit that vents out a window or door. NOT a window unit. Since my Master bedroom is quite large and I have a TV and 2 chairs in there that is where I have it and it is keeping that room really cool. Out in my main area it got up to 89 degrees.
my apartment has a unit in the living room that doesn’t hit all the apartment. It’s so hot today I went and got a portable water cooler that’s supposed to cover 250 feet. Home Depot says if it doesn’t work I can return it.
