Belk is targeting children as young as 2 with transgender pride merchandise.
Until Tuesday, the department store chain’s website was selling a boys’ T-shirt that displayed the words, "So happy to be me," and featured a blue, pink and white happy face — the colors of the transgender pride flag.
The shirt was removed from Belk's website just hours after Fox Business reached out asking if it was aware of the merchandise. The company did not provide a statement by press time.
"Show support with this kids Pride graphic t-shirt. Our toddler and youth t-shirt is soft and durable for everyday wear," Belk’s description for the shirt stated.
While the description of the shirt said it was meant for boys ages 4 to 7, it was available in sizes as small as 2T (toddler).

A retail store that used to be in business.
Never heard of it, was it a good one?
If Sarah Belk Gambrell were still alive, she’d have the person that thought this up boiled in Cheerwine
In the 1960s, when we were poorer than we are now: yes, we thought it was good.
I don't know if it really was or we just thought that.
Belk’s is very big in NC. Upscale store. And they are still in business. At least here in NC they are still very much in business.
Their crazy/sick parents buy the stuff.
It was a department store in Southern states similar to Dillard’s, Macy’s, etc. I think the only place that still has them is NC. I worked at one when I was in HS during the Christmas season.
“What is Belk?”
Morgana, you posted the thread! If you don’t know I sure can’t help you.
It’s gonna be gosh darn difficult to boycott a company I’ve never heard of!
There is a Belk store in Branson, Missouri.
The reason these weirdos have so much power is because most ot the Congressional staff people are sexual weirdos...
And they have influence.
How much money is spent PER PERSON ON MEDICAL care FUNDING FOR GAYS?
And how much per person for ‘straights’?
Any parent who buys that for their child should not be allowed near children!
I’ve never heard of them either, but now I know not to shop there!
There are some in Texas.
This sucks because I don’t like to go clothes shopping, but when I need to, Belk was a good option. Large selection, quality merchandise and decent prices.
But if they’re going to sell pride and tranny crap for children, then it’s a no from me. I’ll have to find somewhere else.
Well I figure and rightly so that some FReepers have heard of it and they may boycott it.
Belk is/was THE store in the south.
Haven’t been to one in years but they have quite a few locations in the south:

Belk is a rather upscale store that mostly sells clothing. They also have some household items and some cookware, but I don’t think large appliances. I know they are in Florida and Georgia. I remember it back in the sixties and yes, the stores still exist. Maybe they can cater to just those who want their children to be groomed, and see if that will be a successful business model. I sometimes get men’s clothes there but it looks like I won’t be going back. I’m sure they would be happy to do without my deplorable money.
What was a very popular clothing line. Hopefully won’t be much longer.
Sick people...everywhere.
