I know all that and I agree 100%. There is, however, a disproportionate number of crimes committed by largely young 15-30 year-old African Americans characterized by a lack of impulse-control. Something is missing culturally or emotionally or psychologically in this cohort of our population. The worst example is the commonality of street shootings in Chicago.
Absent fathers? Drugs? Street gangs? Popular culture? I don’t know but it’s cultural cancer whatever it is.

By the way, and since you brought up the example of Chicago, do you not think some minimum number of the killings in Chicago (mostly of young black men) on a weekly or monthly basis are not “organic”, so-to-speak, but instead are coldly and specifically contracted to provide fodder for so-called “gun control” activists (meaning, anti-2A gun grabbers) to beat the law-abiding gun-owning public into submission?
