I hope that opens the way for the victims to sue the church who covered it up. Now that he has been convicted I bet the church will no longer support him. Their lawyers will be busy elsewhere.

If he's always had a "strangely blank" facial impression, maybe the "stunned" look on his face was was the same look he always has. Possibly his eyebrows went up, but there may not be much difference.

I can't help thinking that he was living life according to the attitudes and behaviors of his character on
That Seventies Show and it came back to make trouble for him in the end. Of course, rape is an extreme example, but a lot of what was thought "cool" in the Seventies will get you #MeToo'ed in today's world.
Also, didn't all that Scientology training help him to become "clear" of his demons and engrams? Maybe, like therapy, Scientology just frees people to do what the demons want them to do.
