Police have shot a person who is believed to have stabbed multiple victims in a horror spree in Long Beach, California.

Law enforcement rushed to the scene just before noon, where they took down the suspect in an 'officer-involved shooting' soon after locating him in the West Coast city.

It is currently unconfirmed how many people were stabbed, however according to the Long Beach Post, up to four people may have been attacked near the Belmont Shore area.
