The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated, you’ll be solving them all within a few days. If you’re stumped, take a break and return to it.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for today’s Cryptogram ASK THE GROUP FOR HELP!
I suggest printing these out and work them on paper. If you need a little help you can copy and paste it to Hal’s Helper below.
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper, but I recommend that you do NOT look at the letter counter.

One last request. Feel free to post a fun or clever clue, the more tangential to the quotation the better, but please don’t put the actual words of the quote in the clue.
Enjoy today’s cryptogram and have a MARVELOUS Monday.

Solution to previous puzzle (select the yellow text with your cursor to read):
Even so my sun one early morn did shine,
With all triumphant splendour on my brow;
But out, alack, he was but one hour mine,
The region cloud hath mask'd him from me now.
Yet him for this my love no whit disdaineth;
Suns of the world may stain when heaven's sun staineth.- Shakespeare, Sonnet 33.

GMTA: I actually considered this one for yesterday’s. (Might have gone over better.) I didn’t want to poach on your patch. Nicely done!
Lonesome,
Thank you for saving it for me to use. I had it planned a month ago.
I enjoyed the one you posted yesterday. I love the long quotes the best. And that sonnet is one of my favorites, though it took me a few minutes to recognize it.
It was a very full and busy day yesterday …. Got up late since I was recovering from playing “mountain music” in a music session for the visitors Saturday out at a State Park, rushed to get to Church on time during a rain storm, didn’t get to do your puzzle until after dinner last night, but it was a nice way to relax and wind-down.
Sonnet 33 was written about the death of his 11 year old son. It only makes sense if you know that. Childhood death was so much more common in those days. It must have been unbearable.
Three of the six did not survive the battle. The six men in that photograph were used as models for the Marine Corps Memorial, those three from photographs.
Author’s first name gave it away
Nice. That part always chokes me up
Sadly, the American flame is quickly flickering out.
Yes it is, Baldwin. But Jesus told us to keep our “light” shinning never-the-less, even to the end.
