I love Monaco, and have since Frankenheimer opened Grand Prix with it.
Wish it didn’t now compete with the Indy 500!

I recognize that Lewis Hamilton is a very fine driver - but what a putz he is for the remarks he made about Florida before last week's race. He was displaying ignorance, bigotry and absolute personal brand stupidity and lack of awareness for all to see. It is a free country, and he is at liberty to make such remarks while here on a visa, but you have to ask why?

The irony of Monaco is that it’s the highest profile race on the circuit but the worst track for overtaking. 68% of all F1 races held there have been won from the front row. It’s so awful it’s hard to believe Hermann Tilke didn’t design it.

I don’t think they compete. It’s a marvelous day in motorsports with the best Formula 1 race in Europe for breakfast, followed by the greatest race in America for your afternoon BBQ.

Monaco? Always a fun race. The teeny pits, the narrow track, the iconic hairpin, and the scary blast through the tunnel.

I watch the F1 race and then the Indy 500. I've watched, or listened to, the 500 since a kid several decades ago.

Enjoyable day for me, but I always, always keep in mind that it's Memorial Day Sunday, and that is my principal focus for the weekend.
