hahahaha....snap! Totally agree. I’ll eat Indian if that’s what everyone wants but I won’t make that choice on my own.
Bud Light is getting from both ends and they are still supporting gay pride parade. They must like being the gay beer.
If sales are down by 26% then who is still buying their horse piss beer?
I saw my Mexican neighbors hauling in a couple of cases yesterday.................
Yes, that is a major factor for sure and does not bode well for the long-term success of the brand. It will likely never recover from this. Boycott or no boycott, most young men don't want to be seen drinking Bud Light any more than a man wants to be seen smoking a Virginia Slim cigarette.
While a cigarette is a cigarette, you will never see a man smoking a Virginia Slim because the product is associated with women and elegant femininity. Yet the product survives because half the population is made up of women.
Problem with Bud Light is most women don't drink beer.
Marlboro was originally marketed as a Woman's cigarette.
That was the only sad thing about Dr. Jack Kevorkian being gone. People had all of those gift cards that their relatives gave them they couldn’t redeem anymore due to his death.
Back then, most men smoked unfiltered cigarettes and it was considered "effeminate" for men to smoke them with filters and especially have them in cigarette holders.
All that changed when smoking cigarettes was linked to lung cancer. Suddenly filtered cigarettes became acceptable to men. Marlboro adopted a much more rugged, masculine image in advertising for their product and thus it became the "masculine cowboy" brand we are familiar with today.
That would have been a more fascinating plot for “Mad Men” than the Lucky Strikes one they used.
Both German and Indian food can be good—but only at the high end.
Most restaurants that serve the stuff fail totally.

Free beer. What a country.
