The twitter launch of desantis' political run for president is currently a disaster.
Thousands wait on the twitter, plagued with streaming and connection errors, as twitter engineers attempt to fix problems, and actually start any kind of presentation.
It's 25 minutes past the time the event was to begin, and they still have not actually begun.
OK, this didn’t work out so well. I gave up after a few minutes. Disappointing. I think musk should have had this approach, figured out and tested in advance too many new things all at once, plus no video!

I am open. I will not vote for trump in the primary. At this moment he is not electable. I would support him if he learns how to fire when appropriate. No one does it better. But seeking destruction of a viable candidate violates Reagan’s 11th commandment. How is he showing he is able to regain the swing voters. He is utterly inept at reading the electorate. Right now i would vote Desantis as his Florida record of leadership, particularly on vote fraud is unparalleled. But here is the other thing….the first vote is 8 months away. That the approximate age of the universe in political terms. We don’t even have the complete field. But I am all for a robust primary to vet our side. Sadly it appears you and many of the trump supporters are committed to trump or bust. So if you want to throw a tantrum and write in Donald Duck, so be it. That happens to be your right. But it would be a half vote for Biden.
In that I agree that you and the only trump side is less interested in what is best for the nation and willing to burn the house down if you don’t get your way. Unfortunately that means the rest of us get screwed too.
To put it bluntly, conservatives don’t negotiate with terrorists. You are holding the republican side hostage our version of the other sides PUMAs or 2016

i just listened to an hour of q and a and learned quite a bit. wonderful to not have Kaitlan Collins type gotcha questions - but straight up for the most part.

Then it sounded like any other pre-scripted question and answer session where it appears desantis had access to the questions, because of the way he was answering them.
There was likely no need for the q&a, as it really didn't bring up anything new, nor was there any excitement to it.

If we give up our honor and behave like the left we have lost the battle. Then there is no more America. That is one of the many things I love about Trump. When the lower courts ruled against him because they were leftist tools he still followed the law and went up to higher courts. He never abused his privileges. He did not usurp state powers and resisted any impulse to rule by fiat. He realized that if you truly love America you need to follow the Constitution and move the ball down the court ethically & legally.
You should try that point of view on for size. I will boycott Disney but not act like the FBI and ignore the law of the land to attack it.
