The twitter launch of desantis' political run for president is currently a disaster.
Thousands wait on the twitter, plagued with streaming and connection errors, as twitter engineers attempt to fix problems, and actually start any kind of presentation.
It's 25 minutes past the time the event was to begin, and they still have not actually begun.

Played games and jerked people around with when he would announce he was running for president.
Been in the process of fraudulently converting state level campaign donations, into funds for his presidential run, in violation of FEC regulations and mccain-feingold.
Yet desantis supporters ignore these things, and say everyone should want this from someone who would be president.
So, how would you be able to tell if desantis, as president, was lying or ever telling the truth about anything?

I think that that is an unfair attack on Trump. Trump is siding with Disney because DeSantis is living rent free in his head, not because of Political Donations.

DeSantis can win. I mean, Biden won in 2020 (although it was not a fair election). DeSantis needs to be strategic about his campaigning in the primaries. Trump remains popular with the base. DeSantis will probably not win the South. He should make his play in states like in the Midwest. DeSantis needs to be more like Reagan. Don't play Trump's game and call his opponents names. Remain confident. Show the voters that he's the only guy who can win in 2024. He needs to hire someone like Kellyanne Conway (although she may be more useful in the general election) who previously managed Trump's successful presidential campaign in 2016.

for the record, Trump did the same thing in 2015 and it freaked me out. Then he wins and he’s VERY conservative and I was mucho relieved. This go round, I fully believe he’s acting the centrist to garner the independent vote (which is necessary) and will continue to govern as a conservative.
Look at all the judges he put in place that were KEY to abortion being overturned. If you think he’s pro abortion, he never would have done that. Yet in 15/16 he was very ‘liberal’ on abortion. Winning the female vote (which is frickin sad if you ask me that they need the ability to kill babies to be happy)
He's been talking about that for the past 7+ years. Have you missed it? Trump is being challenged by other Republicans. I think he has every right to vocalize his reasons why those other people aren't qualified. If he didn't do it to them, they will definitely do it to him.
Remember, it was the Hillary camp who started the rumors about Obama not being born here. It wasn't a Republican. So far, President Trump hasn't had to hire anyone to write a fake dossier on DeSantis or any of his other opponents...and somehow, I don't think he'd ever stoop that low. I'm just glad that lying, evil bastard died when he did. It didn't come soon enough.
Back in 2015, after Trump held a rally in Phoenix, Arizona, McCain was asked about it. He said that it was a very bad situation what Trump had done...that he had "fired up the crazies," simply because Trump had talked to the crowd about the problems with the southern border. Trump was asked a week later about McCain's comments, and he said that McCain needed to apologize to his supporters over that remark. He also made his famous "I like people who weren't captured" comment. You never heard about the comments McCain had made to start the McCain/Trump feud. All you heard was the media and the Democrat's claiming he was attacking a veteran. McCain even pulled some crap about push poll calls back when he was vying with Bush for the Presidential nomination. He claimed that one person got a call from Bush's camp who was making calls telling lies about him, yet when it was looked into, nobody seemed to be able to pinpoint the polling company that allegedly made "the" call, or the fact that any of Bush's polling companies were using a script that included any negative comments about McCain. And we know that McCain was knee-deep in the distribution of the fake dossier.
I know you really really really want desantis to win but I’m telling you, he rang the death knell (do you ring that? :)) by running against DJT. DeSantis needs the base to win and he won’t get it. The majority of the base, BY FAR, supports DJT and wants to see him in office again because it was stolen from him, and us.
Ron has gotten very bad counsel, probably coupled with his pride, and opted to cut his governorship short, screwing the people of florida (you should see what’s going on here with property insurance that he never resolved) to run for pres.
He should have played out his entire term, possibly even been picked as VP and then mapped out a run for 2028. Now, he’ll be lucky to survive til the end of the primary.
