Gretchen Whitmer was quoted to say "Gee I was just going for a jog".

The video would have been better if it had been sped-up, and Yakety Sax had been playing in the background.

At the end of the video the cow was lassoed, yes and the rider took the cow over to the grassy median where the cow then jumped the divider fence. I wonder what happened after that?!

Few are the things more quintessential to America than the Cowboy. This picture to me is a great example of that as memorable as the Flag raising on Iwo Jima or the Firefighters at Ground Zero

During WWII we had a couple of milk cows, “Vicki” would sometimes run away up the road. Frank, a black man (as I remember, a hardworking decent person who worked for us) would go get her back. The neighbors would let us know by phone when she was running up the road.

Worked at a packing plant as a delivery person. Since we came in early, we had to help roundup about two dozen cows that got out of their pen. Able to herd most of them back to their pen but one. Humane society had to dart her. They use pure nicotine. She had to stay quarantined for a week before they could butcher her.

I’ve been thinking about that exact photo a lot lately, ever since Lurch said confiscating American farms is a possibility.

That was bloody insane. I don’t want to armchair quarterback there, but...when the guy on the ATV steered the animal towards the CENTER of the highway with traffic zooming by in the opposite direction...
I swore someone going the other way was going to have a head-on with that animal.
Well, it all turned out okay, but...wow.

I worked in the record department of a Korvette’s discount store in Michigan in the 1960s.
The NYC headquarters guy used to ask us if we had to herd out the stray cows who came through the front doors in our wilderness of the Midwest. Ha, ha.

Ha! You made my wife and I google Korvettes in Detroit area.
Where was the one you worked at located?
We vaguely remember the Store sign from our wayward youth...
