For months, the 'Battle for Bakhmut' has been a main point in Zelensky's fundraising pitch, as he gallivanted across NATO territory in search of more lethal aid.
But now that the Russian Wagner Group has taken control of the city, the "fortress" Zelensky once touted that was supposed to "change the trajectory of the war" is no more, and he refuses to acknowledge that he knowingly sent thousands of men to their death, while he used their lives to increase his own wealth...

Ukraine had eight years and billions of US tax dollars to dig into to Bakhmut and were defeated by the Wagner group.
Ukraine need only switch to gorilla war and wear the Russians down eventually.
Gorillas do not live in Europe. But a guerilla war only works when the population supports the cause. I am not sure that is so in Eastern Ukraine.

Wagner’s leaving the city June 1st. Personally, I think the head of Wagner knows taking it and holding it are two different things and the founder of Wagner knows what will happen soon and he knows he will blame the Russian military for losing what the Wagner Group had taken.
Hopefully the world’s most corrupt government will soon be disposed of... pity so many innocents were killed by the Brandon / Alensky cabal
