Sure, he’s changed.
But except for mid term Political rallies, he’s been AWOL on Biden’s Foreign Money Op.
He’s instinct was to think Trump is guilty - and believe Joe Biden “is a good man.”

Senators make horrible Presidents.
That can’t be more obvious than at this point in history.

I like that Republicans welcome Black candidates. Some have had unexceptional qualifications but were brilliant orators with bold positions (Alan Keyes). Some had intriguing backgrounds and proven brilliance, but no experience in politics (Ben Carson). Some just seemed like, “Hey, here’s a Black Republican” (Herman Cain). Scott has more traditional qualifications (Senator), but OTHER than being Black, he’s rather unexceptional: No bold issue stances, no chance to flip a major purple state, no political triumphs (again, OTHER than being black). The quintessential VICE presidential candidate.
You assume that people on FR are racists because they may make critical comments about a black candidate based on his past statements, Congressional behavior, lack of experience, and policy stands? Were we racists when we criticized Obama’s actions and policies too?
He's Lindsey Graham's twin. Is Lindsey Graham a great candidate?
America is in a serious moral and spiritual freefall. Hard to negate what John Adams so astutely stated: “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
Tim supported Lisa Murcowski. He is another Lindsay Graham.
Would I enjoy dinner with him? Well, after his attacks on Trump around lies said about Trump, I would think it would be a heated discussion time.
Reminds me of Edgar Bergen’s Mortimer Snerd puppet.
I like how, despite his initial overreaction to the George Floyd death, Tim Scott later killed his own plan (w Cory Booker) for fake “police reform” that would have crushed policing. Black activists are still furious at him over it.
I am a lot smarter than Scott and you, then, because I knew they were fake.
Your conservative credential card needs to be revoked. Your stupid comments prove you can’t retain it.
I believe Senator Scott is best left in the Senate, where he can continue to poorly represent his voters.
Talk is what politicians do. Action is what they don’t do. Scott included.
I’ve already heard a Democrat call him “Uncle Tim”. Somehow racist remarks are okay if it’s a Democrat making them.
You're the one who said they like what he's saying, so why don't you go do your own research to see if he's retracted any of his previous comments.
Here he recently ran with the "Hope" campaign line, just like Obama did:
Tim Scott takes swipe at Trump in official presidential campaign launch: 'Hope' over 'grievance'
That was Adams. I’m sure others weighed in with varying positions. Frankly, I avoid doing business with religious people. They’re often more crooked than the crooks. Plus look at all the pastors, priests and rabbis in legal & financial trouble.
If Biden was a conservative and everything was as it is, you’d be circling the wagons in his favor.
Palmetto State ping, please.
If you prefer, you can find other news sources for the same story by using the same title in a search.
Perhaps Scott will nevertheless offer something worthwhile. My suggestion would be that he run as the Black Republican candidate of the season with a message of pride, hope, and conservative ideals and policies like school choice and grass-roots empowerment and community development.
Scott should avoid any anti-Trump jabs and focus his attacks on Joe Biden and failed Democratic policies and ideas that destroy hope. Done properly, a Black Republican happy warrior type with a positive and optimistic message would fit with Tim Scott's personality and background and be unusual enough to command attention and respect. Who knows, but that version of Tim Scott may one day be the Republican future.
Democrats like to claim black candidates aren't black enough. They've done it for years, and gotten away with it.
