Tim Scott is a really nice guy. Too bad he is not a strong leader. He kind of disappeared as our South Carolina senator. Glad he is running so I’ll know that he is still around. We need a strong leader right now, not a nice guy. He kind of reminds me of Mike Pence.

He says America isn’t in decline. (I would say we have some trouble spots, but overall agree). That won’t set well with most people here. Gloom, doom and despair. You need the worst of times (or create the perception of it) to stoke the base.

Most of us were NOT fooled by the collusion hoax. Any true MAGA candidate was also not fooled.
I’m glad Scott is in the Senate. I don’t agree with him on everything, but he has a very different life story from most GOP Senators and his voice is important.
I am far from convinced he is tough enough to be president.
This guy is a RINO, so a NO vote from me.
