Their true object was to take Ukraine and topple the government. They failed.
You don't know what the intentions were anymore than do I.
But logic tells me, if that was the intention, they would have come in much harder than they did, and it wouldn't have been called a Special Operation either.
Our country is being toppled too, and you are worried about their country. Sorry, I don't share your concern for Ukraine.
I do, however, feel sorry for the Ukrainian people. That's why I want a diplomatic solution. Then the people can take care of dealing with Zelenskyy, and hang him in the public square for what he has done to their country.
