CARRIZO PLAIN NATIONAL MONUMENT, Calif. — The roads are still rutted where rainwater carved them and farms are still flooded down the valley, but here in California's largest remaining grassland, the benefits of the state's destructively wet winter are on full display.

And they're spectacular.

“Destructively wet”?

Really?

It snows like never before, replenishing every reservoir, ending drought and...this IDIOT calls it destructive?

Beyond belief.

The remedial cost of “going green” is going to be in the trillions of dollars when it’s all said and done.

Yeah, because we are all the same in this state.

The state with the 3rd largest vote for Trump was California.

Nothing destructive about the ‘wet’ winter. Nothing more than normal wet/dry year rain patterns.

In fact, most years in Kalifornia are either dryer or significantly dryer than average. The average annual rainfall is skewed much higher by the very few very wet years.

The greatest thing about wet winters in California was driving the Grapevine in May. One hill is orange, the next is purple, the next is yellow... That drive was amazing. And then there is the California poppies.

"snows like never before, replenishing every reservoir, ending drought"
If only. The Kalifornia democRATS make sure that there is a permanent drought, a permanent crisis that will not go to waste. No matter how much rain and snowmelt occurs, they flush most of it out to the ocean. One year, recently, they used the excuse that it 'might' rain some more, so they lowered the water level in several reservoirs.
