Prince Harry and Meghan and her mother were involved in a "near catastrophic car chase" involving paparazzi photographers, a spokesperson for the prince has said.
The incident lasted over two hours and resulted in multiple near collisions, the spokesperson said.
“This relentless pursuit, lasting over two hours, resulted in multiple near collisions involving other drivers on the road, pedestrians and two NYPD (New York Police Department) officers,” they added.
“While being a public figure comes with a level of interest from the public, it should never come at the cost of anyone's safety.
“Dissemination of these images, given the ways in which they were obtained, encourages a highly intrusive practice that is dangerous to all in involved.”
It followed Meghan’s attendance at Tuesday night’s Ms Foundation for Women’s 50th anniversary gala event in Manhattan with her husband, Prince Harry, and mother Doria Ragland.

This is all staged.......why did they stay on the road for two hours! They will do anything to get attention. ..sepcially in NY City.....Probabaly because nobody cared about any award Megan would get....they can only get attention by riding on the Royals coat-tails....and they always run to the media.

They probably got the attention of the two NYPD officers they almost(?) ran into.
I laughed the moment they mentiond the Paprazzi.......it’s still funny!
Sounds like they didn’t want “paparazzi” to know where they were staying🙄
Speaking of L.A., seeing as how environmentally conscious s they are, did the Harkles fly from LAX to NYC in a private plane, or did they fly commercial like the rest of us peons.

Megyn is right. There is no way they were in a 2 hour chase. Every avenue in NYC is totally congested and if you pull down the streets they’re littered with double parked cars and trucks. In 2 hours they could have made it halfway through Long Island.
She so wants to be seen as the next Diana.

Maybe if it was 2AM on a Sunday morning, you might be able to get up enough speed in NYC streets for a "high speed chase".
Everyons saying the American Paparazzi do not chase anyone for 2+ hours. They just don’t do that. So this was a Meghan Harry stunt.
Talk about embellishment. Sheesh, sounds more like somebody took a cameraphone picture of them as they slowly drove by.
