I wish I could sing like that. Or find my way home.
I saw him when he was touring behind Arc of a Diver. Top ten concert I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen several hundred.

Worthwhile. One of the concerts I watched in early Covid when there was a lot of social distancing.
I see that Elton John didn’t appear to sing “Candle in the Wind.”
Winwood should have sung "Dear Mr. Fantasy."
My son is friends with Steve’s daughter Lilly and he produced a record for her. One day I get a text and it is a pic of a check from Winwood enterprises. It was a milestone in his music career. I got to meet Lilly when she played near by a very humble sweet girl. You would never know she was from rock royalty.
That was a good tour!

Steve Winwood is by far one of the best singer-songwriters, performers and multi-instrumentalists in the history of rock and popular music. He’s one of the best keyboardists and an underrated guitarist.
There is only one path to higher love. That path is Jesus!
But, all these rockers. What are they? Like, in their 80s? I Dunno. It's just not the same as hear a Steppenwolf concert in '68. For example.
I have also always been a fan of Steve Windwood, from the Spencer Davis group, through Traffic and Blind Faith. He and I are about the same age, and we shared the same beautiful dark red hair when we were young - I got mine from my mother. Watching him at Charles III’s concert, I saw his hair had turned brown and grey with age, just as mine has.
+++++ I saw Traffic back in the day. Unfortunately, Dave Mason had left. Prolly 1969
