This is very sad and a scandal.
Being obliged to have sex with someone you no longer love must be hell on women, too. Sex is not a mere bodily function to most women, but a lot of men - (certainly not all) - do see it that way.
I think sex without love is as ‘adulterous’ as anything else. Love is all that really condones it.
“...And, to the hubby, who was obviously caught off guard.”
The very FACT that he was caught off guard is quite telling. I don’t know what their home life wes like, but after being married over 20 years they should know each other pretty well. If there were growing domestic problems they would have been very apparent to both, and not a surprise.
When she comes and “Pearl Harbors” hubby, it was not a spur of the moment action. This had to have been planned for some time. For sure she has some slick slimey lawyer in DC making sure everything is locked tight, and that she will get the property, the money and anything else of value, and hubby will get GONE!
I am guessing she has a richer Sugar Daddy in DC who made her aome offers she couldn’t refuse, advances in political power, unlimited cash at the gubmint trough and all the tinsel of fame. All for a little temporary quid pro quo until she’s replaced with the next bimbo and sent packing back to the sticks.
I’m think women file more often because men cheat more often.
To expect a woman to stay with a man who has girlfriends is unbiblical and cruel.
Among other things she is being exposed to deadly and debilitating general diseases like all the time.
Same with a betrayed man, obviously.
I don’t know the Boebert situation but she stated she has been faithful. I assume this is true unless there is evidence otherwise.
Mr Caught Off Guard must have been aware he was living separately.
Never let a crisis event pass without using it for political purposes...
I bet it wasn’t a Bud Lite.
That's how I'm going out.
My first wife got rid of me but didn’t have a plan b
Maybe she fell prey to the same guy as Renee Elmers, Rep from North Carolina... Kevin McCarthy
Why is it a ‘scandal’?
But you keep posting me.
Why is slandering patriots like Boebert suddenly the right thing to do, and defending her the wrong thing?
My kids were relieved when I got divorced, They like spending their weekends with me, away from their mom.
“She’s constantly in a state of agitation. The husband may just be a way of coping, attacking the one thing you can beat the crap out of.”
Are you saying she is under the domestic surveillance, does not like the intrusion and the sense of being under siege from these fags, and feels enraged by it?
Just curious how it works up there. My impression was they were cool with the surveillance as it was deployed by the same forces which installed them, and was sort of their team, albeit working for management to make sure they stay under control.
Imagine being verbally and/or physically abused all day long, then being expected to feel all warm and fuzzy in bed that night. Eewww.
Isn’t she a little old for him?
Sounds possible.... or why mention being faithful in a public statement? or even announce you’re divorcing.... Seems she’s trying to get out in front of this to save her reputation as politicians normally do. No doubt she has more control of the press, connections etc. than he does.
She’d done better to just keep her personal businss to herself.
Jayson said, .... “So it’s what ever she wants.”
Appears she’s the moving party in this....getting out in the front to proctect her reputation and political career. But her comments lead me to think she’s the at fault party - takes only one to end a marriage who doesn’t want to do it anymore.
