Cicada 3301 is malinformation generated by self-important “nobody” gamers-turned-grifters; opportunists.
It gave the Q-niverse: Austin Steinbart, Paul F.U.B.A.R. and “microdik” claiming to be the originators of the Q-OP.
Their claims were immediately squashed by Anons.
Then, in desperation, Steinbart tried to run an independent grift and was snared by the FBI (yep, he tried to LARP-grift an FBI agent!.
He spent time and was denied further access to internet devices for a period of 18 months.
He’s back because Cicada 3301 never shut down.
They are a divisive, self-interested part of the chans.
They still have followers but every press release is \always\ positive and very likely written by the Cicada 3301 hierarchy.
I recommend rejecting anything related to Cicada 3301 out-of-hand.
